ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Business Analyst is expected to perform these functions and other similar duties with limited direction and oversight.
- Assist in the Determination of operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications
- Assist in the Improvement of systems by studying current practices and designing and documenting modifications
- Assist in the recommendation of controls by identifying problems and developing improved procedures
- Assist in defining project requirements and managing project milestones
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning.
- Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data to develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Interview key stakeholders and lead workshops with business users and subject matter experts to elicit requirements, understand existing business processes, and develop functional designs
- Drafting business requirements documentation
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
- Leading small to medium-sized process improvement projects
- Following PMO and IT process and utilizing tools, such as prioritization, quality assurance, and change management
- Facilitating change management of operational projects and mentoring others across the business-on-business analysis practices
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
Sales & Marketing
- Assist in the planning, coordination, initiation and execution of marketing activities and events.
- Assist in the management of various social media accounts and report on the statistics of those accounts.
- Assist in maintaining the content of the various iStrat Solutions public facing website.
- Assist with the writing of, proofreading, researching, and publishing of blogs.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of market research data.
- Assist in various Sales related go-to-market activities.
- Assist in the management of CRM system, updating leads and providing reporting as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Business Administration
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Accounting Clerk or similar role.
- A solid understanding of business process, policies, and work flows
- Experience in performing functional design, gap analysis, proactive risk assessment, and issue management
- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to adapt communication styles and strategies to the audience
- A working understanding of various software applications (e.g. Microsoft office, etc)
- Effective time-management and organizational skills
